Tyler, you are correct on one point: Tik Tok can buy your personal data if they wanted to, but why buy it when they get you to provide it to them for free?
Through the app, they have access to your contacts, your emails, and all your messaging. You do not need to be in Tik Tok for this information to be compromised. Every single thing you do on your phone is available to the CCP. I do not use it and have never loaded it.

I don't get Tyler's take on personal data. Chinese military hackers hack Equifax in 2017, they target all kinds of big business like insurance and the government. Or you can just sign up on a Tencent/Weixin platform like WeChat and give them your data.
It's big business and big profits for them so China is greedy for data. I'm not going to freely give it to them. At least use a VPN but if you give your info to a tencent company don't be surprised if the CCP has your profile and sells it. It's all merky but why give them an inch?
About a 10-12% mark up to buy gold and silver through most metals exchanges up to 10 ounces it drops off after that ( more you buy the less mark up) I I use kitco precious metals exchange they have a program where you can set up an account to deposit money and they will send you the gold or silver when you hit your target for the amount you want to purchase
Say you want 10 ounces of silver you deposit funds into the account and when you have enough for an ounce they purchase and store that ounce for you you can add as much or as little money as you can afford to no minimum requirements I usually have them ship when I hit 10 ounces
