08/26/24: Amazing! What a sustained high-quality sense of humor your contributors have.
All the odds have been defied --- there's no letdown in quality.
Particularly excellent / brilliant (in no particular order):
--- "When I found out that he cheated on me" is BEYOND clever.
--- "Hello Darkness My Old Friend" has been recycled from last year and I'm glad it was, proving that's a classic.
Perfectly timed. We here on the east coast witness Orion's Belt in the sky at about 4 a.m. and it sends a chill up my spine the first time I see it each year --- Winter is on the way!
--- The Norwegian Navy bar code!
--- Wind Chimes!
--- "Butter Not In Your Bed, Mommy"!
--- $1 on the Texas roadhouse gift certificate (my high reunion is next year, and I'm doing the exact same thing to all those detested louts...)
--- The "Vikings fans" is very good, but should have had a note at the bottom stating that the Vikings HC is a f'ing IDIOT for having recently played his #1 draft pick in a pre-season game.
Now the #1, JJ McCarthy, is out for the year and Genius Head Coach (not any stupider than 100% of the other 31 NFL head coaches) is replacing him with re-re-retread Sam Darnold --- DISASTER GUARANTEED.
Sorry, Tyler: The Vikes are an auto-bet-against this year.
