Finished the book same day of delivery. Since English is my 2nd language, I think my list of adjectives was greatly expanded. Would "softer than baby poo" or be prepared to say out loud, "that Deev!" be a spoiler violation?

Jokes aside, my newly minted 18yr old (almost a new year baby) whom I exhange maybe at least 3 or 4 words a day on average formulated a full sentence when he came down to the kitchen for a 9pm snack. Let out a, "You actually finished that book? I saw you open the Amazon bag when I got back from school. Are you sure you don't have ADHD?"

I gave him a summary of your book, which opened up more conversation about my own insane childhood, and he went to bed around 11pm.

I had to drive him to school since he woke up late this morning. He gave me a hug and said thanks mom. I sat in shock until the guy behind me honked. The soft copy is now in his room. Since he's planning on joining the Airforce, he wanted to read it as well. Still waiting on the signed hardback.

Just finished the book. Love the style. Each flashback leads you to the path of how Zeducation is now what it is. Funny how you spend so much time looking for your purpose, your anchor and when you find it everything seems possible. I found the channel through other podcasts and YouTube channels I watched. I now listen every morning to Tyler. I say his catch phrases with him, laugh at Deev not being ready for words for the day, and enjoying listening to Tyler say what I’m thinking. I enjoy the story time with Megan and share laughs in bed with my wife as we try not to laugh at the craziness he shows on Zeducation.

Your journey through this book is amazing and I will definitely recommend this book to others and go give it a 5 star recommendation. We all struggle with life’s hardships and to see Tyler’s family realize the Dream Room was an awesome story well worth the read.

Thank you Tyler for sharing your story with us.

My thoughts before reading the book……….

I just kinda stumbled on to Zeducation.

After watching a few Sundays in a row….. I suddenly realized…. This guy chirping at me was the reason I kept tuning in.

He was the epitome of ‘All American Boy’…. ‘Guy you wanna have a beer with’ ….. ‘Good People’

I made a note to actively search for his videos.

“Tyler” (and I will continue to use his professional name in public, it seems the polite thing to do) has charisma that manages to come through the camera. You can’t teach it…you can’t fake it, either you have it, or you don’t. Tyler has it in spades.

So, I did something I have NEVER done before….. I subscribed. The people in the comments looked like they were having waay too much fun. I had to get in on it.

And my journey began……. It’s been a hoot getting to jokingly spar occasionally with Tyler and get to know other subscribers.

I’ve got a ticket to ride. 😁

My parents found Zeducation before me and I tuned in to watch with them, in summer of 2020 along with other channels of a similar essence, but Zeducation stuck with me. It was the only one I had subscribed to just because I liked watching the videos more 😎

I’ve read the book. So many questions I don’t even know where to start.

Tyler and Deev were near adults.... and they had difficulty knowing their parts in this drama.

What was an 11 year old thinking?

My heart is breaking for him.

Okay, .........this book is so powerful.... it’s taken awhile to digest.

Not everyone has had a chance to read it yet, so I’ve waited to begin.

Maybe it’s the ‘Momma’ in me, and NOT to denigrate Tyler and Deev’s anguish, but my thoughts go immediately to the ‘baby.’

Beau. Eleven years old.

Both Tyler and Devin know they are near grown. Powerful....but also, their father is a monolith. And yet, they aren’t children. Beau is. Imagine his terror.

Tyler speaks about being ashamed of his actions that night. He should have bearded the lion. ....... No.

Tyler’s job was to be the leader, the planner, the protector. He did that. His very first thought was to make a plan for their safety. Once that plan was in effect he looked after the weakest. His eleven year old brother. Who else would have noticed Beau had no shoes? Tyler did.... gave him his own and knew that the most vulnerable should be moved out of harm’s way. He did that, too.

Tyler instinctively recognized Deev had what was needed, and he gave Deev all the help he had. His knife. Beau knew his job was to do what his brothers said.

They all played their part.

Tyler, the leader,

Deev the ‘go to guy,’

Beau, the child.

I picked up my copy from my son tonight and began reading it. Boy is it good! I’m 5 chapters in and had to put it down to go to bed. I’m not big into books, but this is easy to read and draws you into the story. I can see it in my minds eye. Can’t wait to read more!!!

Great job Tyler!!!

Tyler, I opened the book yesterday evening and I am about half-way through it and I will finish the book this evening (hopefully). I was also in the Air Force, and your words pretty much echo my experiences. There's always that baby huey in a group... isn't there? I can't wait to get back into the book and give more of a review. You should be very proud of yourself from your early days until now. You have accomplished so much and I know you are just getting started. I'm proud of you and for you writing this book!

I received my copy at 5:30 tonight. I am about half way through. Des and Deev, I just want to say I am thanking God for what he has done in your lives. I am about 10 years older than you, but you guys feel like the little brothers I never had.
